Handmade Bamboo Fruit Basket and Storage Tray

Woven bamboo has a texture that moulded plastic cannot match, and it suits a bench where things are on show. This basket is handmade, so the weave has small variations across each piece.

Key features

• Handwoven from natural bamboo, with a warm honey colour that deepens slightly with use
• Measures 29 x 15 x 25 cm, generous inside but narrow enough for a benchtop or sideboard
• Open weave lets air move around fruit rather than trapping moisture underneath
• Bamboo is fast-renewing, so the basket is a lower-impact choice than plastic
• Weighs approximately 1 kg

Suits fruit, bread, dried snacks or tea accessories, and works as a serving tray when guests are over. Keep it out of prolonged damp and wipe rather than washing.
